Meet the Founder
Moving from Nepal to the US to pursue technology meant confronting immediate, heavy hurdles—chief among them the crushing cost of education and the isolation of navigating a foreign system from scratch. Earning his engineering degrees wasn't just an academic pursuit for Biplow Ghimire; it was an exercise in pure survival, resourcefulness, and financial discipline.
That resilience drove a dynamic career that spanned from tackling complex automotive engineering at the Innovation Center Volkswagen to navigating the fast-paced world of various startups. Through it all, Biplow realized that the most powerful force in tech isn't just the code—it's the people. Driven by a deep belief in mutual support, he founded and organizes the Flutter San Francisco meetup group to create a space where developers can share knowledge, collaborate, and lift each other up.
Having experienced firsthand how systems and technologies are often built to be unnecessarily complicated and exclusionary, Ghimire Labs was born to push back against that culture. Through practical, no-hype software like Drishya, Biplow blends his deep engineering background with his commitment to community, building the kind of clear, accessible tools he wishes he had during his own uphill journey.
